Sailor for your class. Jeremiah will be available in Spring 2000 in February,
March, and April.
Jeremiah portrays a sailor just home from the
War of 1812 where he served aboard the daring privateer Chasseur. In
1814, Chasseur was nicknamed "the Pride of Baltimore" for her bold
exploits in blockading the entire British Isles all by herself!
Jeremiah will come to your class in full costume with pictures and
artifacts from the period. He'll make history come alive as he tells
stories and teaches sea shanties. Click on Jeremiah Jenkins to book a
presentation.
