To begin this activity, please take a few minutes (at least 3 but not more than five) and write a brief description of your home using the Home Sweet Home Worksheet that your teacher will give you. Make your description as specific as you can. See how many details about your home that you can include. Describe its size, shape, color, building materials, and any other details that are important. Be sure to identify whether you live in an urban, suburban, or rural area. Add a brief thought or two about what makes your home special.

Later, before you give this paper to your teacher, add a sketch of your home. So that you don't forget to draw the sketch -- write yourself a little, teeny note under your description to remind yourself in very light pencil. (Don't forget to erase the note when you do your sketch!)
