Which of these amazing creatures do you like best? Do they remind you of anything that you've seen before? Would they make good stars of a scary science fiction movie?

You will need to get a copy of the My Favorite Plankton worksheet from your teacher to complete this part of the lesson.

Choose 2-3 of your personal favorite phytoplankton and zooplankton and sketch them on this new sheet of paper. Be sure to include their names alongside the sketches.

Return to the World Wide Web sites that you read in Part 1 of this lesson when you were learning about plankton (the links that you have already used are shown again below). This time just make sketches of the plankton. Be sure to LABEL the sketches as phytoplankton or zooplankton. If you can get a specific name for the critter, list it as well.
