To really be prepared to complete this Learning Adventure, you will need to have some background information about what is expected from you. Hopefully, by now you have watched a local news broadcast to learn about the different segments of the news and the clever ways news broadcasters deliver those news stories. Think back for a minute.

What were some of those different segments?

  • Which one tells you about news stories in your neighborhood?
  • Which segment shares stories about news in your country?
  • Which segment tells about news stories in other countries?
