Part 1 - Shipmates, Again!

You will need to get a copy of the Watch It! Crew Worksheet from your teacher before you begin the rest of the lesson. You will also need your pencil.

Let's begin with Miss Leslie's introduction to the crew. You may remember them if you did the Shipmates lesson. After you read the log click on the back button to return to this lesson. Do this each time you are told to read a log. Complete the Crew Worksheet as you read.

Signing On - December 10 Log

The Pride is under sail twenty-four hours a day. That means that some folks have to be working all of the time! The crew is divided into three "Watch" teams. Let Miss Leslie explain how the captain, cook, and crew all work together to keep the Pride moving twenty-four hours a day!
