Answer to Mystery Picture #25
I'm the the twin towers of the Golden Gate bridge. I'm the longest
suspension bridge (a bridge suspended on wires held up by towers) in the
world. Without me, travelers coming to San Francisco from the north
would have a very choppy ferry boat ride across the swift current of the
Golden Gate. I do my job rain or shine. Or fog!
