BCMSR Conservation Day
"Trees and Trails"
The Trees and Trails Day is 27 April 2007 on "National Arbor Day." Come
celebrate with us for our own "Trees and Trails Day" at BCMSR. Does your
unit need or want to do a conservation project and help your Scout
reservation? Well join us to get you picture in the paper and most
importantly help with a day of service at BCMSR with a needed
reforestation projects and trail maintenance.
As many of you know we had to remove large stands of pine trees because
of a devastating beetle infestation killing all the trees. As part of
the reforestation you unit is invited to help place tree guards on new
hardwood seedlings. In addition, we will be doing much needed work on
the camp's trail system that we all know and love. You can come for the
day or the weekend, make your reservation for Camp Oest at no cost.
